Sharing Personal Details Online

Are you sharing too much information online  .  .  .

.  .  .  or are you keeping yourself safe?

Information that would not identify a person can be shared online.

For example – a First name or Nickname, an Avatar, Interests that do not identify you.

Information that helps identify the person should NOT be shared online.

Do not share – Your full name, Address, Phone number, Email address, Photo, Passwords, Date of Birth

In ICT, Year 5 & 6 students have made Identity/Business cards. Below are three sample cards.

Which is safe to share online?   Which reveals personal details?

What am I?

During ICT, our Foundation children have been learning to use Powerpoint as a presentation tool.

Here are some skills they have learned.
Creating new slides.
Selecting a design.
Adding text and changing the colour.
Using transitions.
Inserting clip art.

The children from each class have combined their own slides to make two class ‘What am I?’ presentations for you to view.

(Please note that Powerpoint cannot be displayed on blogs, so they have been converted to ‘Slideshare’.)

Can you guess the answers?
