A Couple of Achievements

I was looking through the results of the Skoolbo Cup and noticed a couple of interesting results that I thought needed to be shared.

Did you know that St Robert’s School was the 4th highest scoring school for Australia in the Skoolbo World Cup? As you can see, working hard as a team really did make a difference.

Did you know that Jimmy R in Grade 1JB was not only the top scorer for St Robert’s, but also was in the top 100 for Australia? (He was 72nd and scored 2,162 points for Australia)

Congratulations Jimmy, we are very proud of your effort.

(If you see Jimmy in the yard, make sure you say ‘Well done!”)

The 2015 Skoolbo World Cup has come to an end with a very exciting finish in the closing hours of competition. Congratulations to Team Australia, the new Skoolbo world champions! Over the course of the World Cup, kids around the globe answered a staggering 19,026,100 questions.

Well done to all the St Robert’s students who worked at school and at home to gain points for Team Australia. It was fun to see our avatar dressed in an Australian uniform and we all tried our hardest to answer as many questions as we could. It was particularly exciting on the final day to see Australia catching up and passing Great Britain at the last minute.

Great teamwork Australia and well done also to Team USA, Team Great Britain and Team New Zealand for making it such an exciting competition. We’re sure that answering all those questions will help our learning.
